Description
HealthONE in Denver is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide advanced clinical expertise within Healthcare & Medical Services. In this role, you will lead evidence-based practice, support complex patient care, and mentor nursing staff to elevate clinical standards. You will collaborate across disciplines to drive quality and safety initiatives, optimize patient outcomes, and champion innovative care models. Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical protocols and best practices to improve outcomes
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Educate and mentor nursing staff through in-service training and clinical coaching
Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within assigned service lines
Serve as a clinical resource and consultant for challenging patient care situations
Analyze clinical data and outcomes to drive practice improvements
Participate in policy development, accreditation, and regulatory readiness activities
Engage patients and families in care planning, education, and discharge coordination
Support professional development and orientation of new nurses and graduate nurses

Specialty nursing certification (e.g., CCRN, PCCN, CEN, OCN) preferred
Master’s degree in Nursing with CNS focus
